    A mandala, no? Nothing is permanent… but your spaghetti sauce should still last the winter!

    ahhhh! that is soooooo pretty!!!!! (including the socks. and leg hair.)

    i’ve been checking the forecast too… we’re gonna be all the way down in the 50s at night. ;) sorry, but it is raining a lot here on the coast, if that makes you feel any better.

    Great picture!

    Our entire harvest of tomatoes (planted way too late) was still green when the first frost hit unexpectedly up here. They’ve been spread out on all of the window sills for the last few weeks and are actually ripening up quite nicely! Every few days I make a soup or pop some in the freezer as they ripen.

    Ooooh! I wish our tomatoes were in this lovely a state… Thank goodness for friends in high places, or rather, places where they know how to grow the perfect, giant tomato in improbable conditions. Happy canning!
