Writing Your Wild Life

When a writer views life with fresh, well tuned senses, anything can become material for stories. In this class you’ll learn to tame your inner critic so you cna get down to the business of writing. We’ll discuss techniques for mining your own life for details and inspiration. There will be weekly writing exercises, in-class critique, and tips for effective editing. Students will have an opportunity to submit a short piece to a national magazine with the help of class feedback and teacher guidance.
